Katherine Wellburn

Katherine Wellburn is a retired lawyer in Vancouver, BC. She worked in the areas of bankruptcy and insolvency, commercial litigation, lawyers' fees and costs, complex collections and fraud. Katherine served as the registrar of the BC supreme court and a registrar of bankruptcy, conducting bankruptcy hearings, assessments of costs, passing of accounts for estates and reviews of legal fees. She is an editor and contributing author of the British Columbia Creditor's Remedies Guide, and regular speaker at the annual forum for the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Practitioners.
